Network carrier issues (ViaEuropa)

ViaEuropa yet again seems to be suffering from major network issues. They were suppose to upgrade their internal network today at 12.00 (12.00PM) – 13.00 (01.00PM) to 10 Gbit/s with an estimated downtime of 5-20 minutes.

Here we are at 18.35 and the network is still unbelievable unstable. Every time I lose connection to the network, www.viaeuropa.se becomes unreachable at the same time. So what can we conclude from this? ViaEuropa’s 5-20 minutes downtime did not add up ;).

What else, they don’t feel like updating their page so customers know what is going on; they just refer you to your ISP, in my case PirateISP. But how are they supposed to know about ViaEuropa failed upgrade, why not just post 1 announcement on ViaEuropa.se to keep customers happy? It’s just not in ViaEuropa’s nature.
